Siege Warfare
A content where guilds fight to occupy castles on the continent of Friggard.
Bid
To participate in the Siege Warfare, you must first bid using your guild funds.
Only the guild leader can bid, and the guild must be level 5 or higher.
Bidding Time: Every Monday 06:00 ~ Thursday 22:00
The guilds and bid amounts are not disclosed. After the bidding ends, the winning guild will participate in the Siege Warfare.
If you are already occupying a castle, you can't bid on another castle, and you automatically qualify for the Siege Warfare without additional bids.
There is a minimum bid amount, and you can place higher bids than the current bid.
If a guild is already occupying a castle, they will join the Siege Warfare as the defense team.
Confirmed guilds for the Siege Warfare cannot dissolve alliances, request or accept alliances, or register or remove enemy guilds until the end of the Siege Warfare preparation and conclusion time (Sunday 20:30 ~ 22:00).
Mercenary Recruitment and Management, Applications
During the Siege Warfare, you can join the attacking team as a mercenary and participate in the Warfare under an arbitrary name.
The guild leader of the confirmed guild can recruit mercenaries.
| Recruitment Period: Sunday 20:30 ~ 22:00
| Recruitment Count: Minimum 1 ~ Maximum 59
| Guilds that occupy a castle cannot recruit mercenaries. The guild leader must approve the applications to complete the recruitment.
| Recruitment conditions can be set. (Choose 1)
| Condition 1: Only allied guild characters can apply.
| Condition 2: Only characters not in any guild or allied guilds can apply.
| Condition 3: Any characters except those from enemy guilds can apply.
You can set participation and victory rewards for recruited mercenaries.
| The set amount of diamonds held by the guild leader will be deducted immediately upon setting the rewards.
| Recruitment count and reward settings can be changed, but not to a lower level than the current settings.
| Rewards will only be given to mercenaries if their contribution to the Siege Warfare meets a certain level.
| Participation reward: Given immediately if expelled, upon withdrawal, or at the end of the Siege Warfare.
| Victory reward: Given immediately if the team wins the Siege Warfare, even if the mercenary is expelled or withdrawn.
The guild leader of the attacking team can dismiss recruited mercenaries before the Siege Warfare starts.
| Dismissed mercenaries cannot reapply to the same guild.
| Dismissed mercenaries can apply to other guilds.
During the Siege Warfare, mercenaries can be expelled or withdraw on their own.
| Expelled or withdrawn mercenaries cannot apply for mercenary roles that week.
| Mercenaries can only be expelled if they are not logged in, are in another region, or have low contribution after the Siege Warfare starts.
If the recruitment count is below 10, you cannot expel more than 4 current mercenaries.
If the recruitment count is 10 or more, you cannot expel more than 50% of the mercenaries.
Mercenaries must be level 70 or above to apply. Guild information will be displayed as the attacking team during the Siege.
However, if you have an allied guild, you can see the name of that guild.
Battlefield Information
- You can check the battlefield information of the castle before bidding and fighting.
- Battlefield information includes guild positions, Guard Towers, Castle Gates, guards, portals, and NPC locations.
Battle and Rules
Guild members who have not been in the guild for 24 hours cannot participate in the Siege Warfare.
The attacking team can have a total of 60 participants per 3 teams (guild members + mercenaries).
Warfare time: Maximum 60 minutes
1) Basic Attack Team Strategy
Protect your own Guard Tower from other teams, destroy the defense team's Guard Tower, and acquire the Imperial Seal.
Only the guild leader of the attacking team can acquire the Imperial Seal. Upon acquisition, roles are switched between attack and defense.
You can destroy the defense team's Castle Gate, guards, portals, and Siege Warfare Manager to cut off their strategic elements.
You can destroy the other Siege Team's Guard Tower to eliminate them from the Battlefield.
2) Defense Team Battle Basics
The Defense Team must defend the Guard Tower inside the castle for 20 minutes.
If the Guard Tower is destroyed and the Imperial Seal drops, you must prevent the Siege Team's guild leader from obtaining the Imperial Seal.
Even if the Defense Team's Guard Tower is destroyed, if the Siege Team's guild leader does not obtain the Imperial Seal and 20 minutes pass, the Defense Team wins.
The Defense Team can also attack the Siege Team by moving outside the castle using the Siege Portal Overseer.
If the Defense Team destroys the Siege Team's Guard Tower, the Siege Warfare ends.
The destroyed Castle Gate, Portal, and Guards by the Siege Team can be restored using diamonds through the Siege Manager, but you must wait a while before the next restoration.
3) Basic Rotation between Siege Team / Defense Team
During rotation or at the end of the Siege Warfare, the battle is temporarily paused and all teams are moved to the anonymous Siege Warfare Waiting Room.
During rotation between Siege and Defense, existing objects (Castle Gate, Portal, NPC, etc.) are not reset and regenerated but are maintained.
During rotation, the guild that obtained the Imperial Seal becomes the Defense Team, and the guild that failed in defense becomes the Siege Team for the next Siege Warfare.
The Defense Team must protect the Guard Tower for 20 minutes out of the 60-minute battle time, while the Siege Team must destroy the Guard Tower and obtain the Imperial Seal within 20 minutes.
If the Defense Team defends the Guard Tower for 20 minutes, they win the Siege Warfare regardless of the remaining battle time.
However, if the remaining battle time is less than the 20 minutes required to defend the Guard Tower, the Defense Team wins if they protect the Guard Tower during the remaining battle time.
If the Siege Team destroys the Defense Team's Guard Tower and obtains the Imperial Seal within 20 minutes, a rotation between Defense and Siege takes place.
During rotation, teams move to the Waiting Room where they can use merchants and storage, and move to big cities and other areas.
- During rotation, existing objects (Castle Gate, Portal, Guards, NPC, etc.) are not reset or regenerated but are maintained. (Restoration is possible using the Siege Manager.)
- Both Siege and Defense Teams can attack the Siege Manager NPC, and if the NPC dies, it will not regenerate during the current Siege Warfare.
- All characters participating in the Siege Warfare can attack each other regardless of being allies or enemies.
- There is no death penalty during the Siege Warfare.
- Upon death, you will revive at your guild's starting location after the resurrection waiting time.
- You can consume 200 diamonds to instantly revive during the resurrection waiting time. (Instant revive: limited to 10 times)
- The more you die, the longer the resurrection waiting time becomes.
- Teleport is not possible inside the Combat Zone during the Siege Warfare. (Returning to town or Stronghold is possible.)
- During the battle, character names are only visible to their guild members, while other character names are anonymized.
- Party creation/invitation/joining is only possible if you belong to the same guild.
- In the battle result screen, the team name and team affiliation image are displayed instead of the guild name and guild mark.
- The winning guild in the battle receives 40% of the total auction amount as guild funds.
- The losing guild in the battle receives 40% of their guild's auction amount back as guild funds.
